The pathway

Not a phased plan. A situation is something that, once it exists, makes the next thing cheaper. Each one below names what it needs and what it makes cheaper, and which rung of the founder’s own progression toward the commons it serves.

S1 · A Fund on Artizen, activated

What it is. A Liminal Commons Fund that curates the projects of people setting up their own venues. Artizen seeds an approved Fund with at least a thousand dollars; sponsors add to its match pool; every dollar a curated project raises unlocks match from that pool; the Fund’s weekly prizes roll back into the pool. The Fund never holds the money; Artizen pays creators directly.

What it needs. The six fields on the Fund page, a hero image, and five curated projects to activate. One of every five may be Victor’s own.

What it makes cheaper. The money question. The village deploys funds without an entity of its own, which the December 2025 call flagged as the thing that had to be solved before handling money.

S2 · Vibe Cafe gathering again, on a rhythm

What it is. The venue itself, hosting. The Common Meet continues; Victor’s Circle ran weekly into early 2026. A rhythm makes the village visible to the people the Fund would curate.

What it needs. A working front door (vibecafe.xyz is down), a calendar, and the hosts.

What it makes cheaper. Finding the five, and every share that follows. Serves rung 7.

S3 · Hosts setting up their spaces, on what exists now

What it is. Until the Kosmos can host an oikos for someone else, hosts set up on what is already theirs and self-held: their own site, their Substack, their circle’s calendar. The village records where each venue is and how to reach it, the way the village’s earlier map and directory did.

What it needs. A working surface the village can write to together.

What it makes cheaper. The move onto the Kosmos later: a host who already has a venue and a map entry moves; one who does not, does not. Serves rung 7.

S4 · The Kosmos able to host a venue for someone else

What it is. The rungs before hosting, which are the Kosmos’s own work: a foundation whole and coherent, its door inhabited by its founder, a second node, a venue made from inside. That work is coordinated in the Kosmos itself, not from these pages.

What it makes cheaper. Everything above stops being a workaround.

S5 · The study, feeding the ground

What it is. Roy’s course from the week of 2026-09-08, read against the kosmos, so that the world’s ontology corresponds to “the phenomenological experience of being human together in the actual cosmos.” This is already under way.

What it makes cheaper. S4 being built right the first time, and the broader frame on the vision page being written in words Victor holds rather than borrows.

What is deliberately absent

No dates. No phases. No headcount targets. A situation is added when the one before it exists, and the founder’s progression already says which comes first: the foundation, then the thyra, then hosting. The Fund is the exception the calendar forces, and it costs nothing to start early because curation takes weeks and the Fund need not activate until the five are real.
